Mr. Stacey Lamont Weatherford, of Suwanee, GA, passed away Thursday, August 9th, 2018 at 49 years old.
Stacey was of the Baptist faith, and was greeted on the other side by his son, Steven Lamar Weatherford, and both sets of grandparents, Cammie and Thomas Roebuck and Lozeffa and Roy Vernon Weatherford. Stacey was a hard worker; he worked for everything he had and humbled himself on his accomplishments. Stacey was an engineer of sheet metal fabrication, welding, and many other unseen talents. Stacey’s greatest joy was his daughter, whom he raised and made sure she had graduated both high school and college. Stacey loved water sports such as jet skiing, and parasailing with his daughter while on vacation to the beach. Stacey enjoyed traveling, going to the movies, working out at the gym, playing cards or going to Harrah’s Cherokee, and watching the Atlanta Falcons even if they lost the game.
Stacey succumbed to his own demons in the end leaving behind his daughter, Kesley Anne Weatherford; soon to be son-in-law, Chase Bodner; his parents, Roy Lee and Susan Louise Weatherford; his sister, Charlotte Weatherford Ingram, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
