Candelaria Muñoz

Candelaria Muñoz, 85, was born in Tecuacuilco, Guerrero, MX and resident of Gainesville, GA, passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2025.

Candelaria is preceded in death by her husband Agustin Muñoz, her son Lorenzo Muñoz, and her granddaughter Abigail Muñoz.  She is survived by her children, Eva Escalante (José Luis), Pedro Muñoz, Margarita Muñoz (Juan Mendez), Frank Muñoz (Cindy), and Leticia Muñoz (Jesús Aguilar).  She is also survived by 14 Grandchildren, 9 Great-Grandchildren and numerous amount of family and friends.

Visitation will be from 11:00am to 1:00pm on Friday, June 27, 2025 at Hillside Chapel Funeral Home.  A Funeral Mass will be at 1:00pm on Friday, June 27, 2025 at the Funeral Home Chapel, followed by the interment at Oakwood Cemetery.

La Sra. Candelaria Muñoz, de 85 años, nacida en Tecuacuilco, Guerrero, MX y residente de Gainesville, GA falleció el miércoles 26 de junio de 2025.  

Candelaria se une en el cielo a su esposo Agustín Muñoz, su hijo Lorenzo Muñoz y su nieta Abigail Muñoz.  Le sobreviven sus hijos Eva Muñoz (José Luis), Pedro Muñoz, Margarita Muñoz (Juan Mendez), Frank Muñoz (Cindy), y Leticia Muñoz (Jesús Aguilar).  También le sobreviven 14 nietos, 9 bisnietos y una multitud de familiares y amigos. 

El velatorio se llevará a cabo de 11:00am a 1:00pm, el viernes 27 de junio de 2025, en la Funeraria Puerta del Cielo en Hillside Chapel, seguido de la Misa Fúnebre en la capilla de la funeraria.
