Cynthia Ann (Williams) Hunt

Cynthia Ann Hunt, 62, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away on Thursday August 3rd, 2023, after a courageous two-year battle with cancer. Cindy was born on September 11th, 1960, in Atlanta to the late Doug and Patricia Williams.

Cindy is survived by her loving husband Russell Hunt, her two sons Robert (Sara) Hunt and Daniel Hunt (Christine LaGrange), brothers Matt Williams and Brad (Karen) Williams, nieces Rebekah Williams and Anna Williams and grandson Elijah Hunt.

Cindy was incredibly kind, compassionate, hardworking, and adventurous. Throughout her 45-year career at Kroger, she established and maintained a reputation as a hard worker and helping hand. She was known for her ability to solve any problem and willingness to help anyone she met. Outside of work, Cindy spent her time pouring into her friends and family.  Whether boating on Lake Lanier, camping, or playing with her dogs, Cindy was always ready for an adventure. Even in hard times, Cindy portrayed a spirit of positivity and love to those around her.  She had a profound impact on every life she touched.

A memorial service will be held Saturday August 19, 2023, at 11 am at Lanier Hills Church in Gainesville, GA. The family will receive friends from 10:30 am till time of service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia.
