Donna M Freeman

Donna M. Freeman, age 76, of Gainesville, GA passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2026. She was born in 1949, in Atlanta, GA.

Donna worked several years at the First National Bank and later retired from JC Penneys. She attended First Baptist Church of Oakwood, Chicopee Baptist Church, and Northlake Baptist Church. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, home maker, and a fantastic cook. Donna loved to sing and loved being outside in the sun light especially at the beach. She is preceded in death by her husband, David T. Freeman, Sr.; son, David T. Freeman, Jr.; and sister, Dianne Grant.

She is survived by her daughter, Brandy D. Freeman; and sisters, Deniece Oehmsen, Debbie Schirra, and Darin Rager; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 31, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. at Hillside Chapel Funeral Home in Gainesville, GA with Pastor Danny Jones. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens in Gainesville, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service. Interment will be at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at Hillside Garden Cemetery, 1212 Hillside Garden Ln. Gainesville, GA 30504.
