Eddie Larry Keith, 82, of Gainesville, GA, passed away peacefully at his home on November 13, 2025, surrounded by his family and beloved dog.
Born February 4, 1943, in Greenville, MS, he was of the Baptist faith.
He was married to the love of his life, Cesarea deVeyra Keith, for 52 years. The couple made their home in Gainesville.
Mr. Keith was preceded in death by his sons, Kevin Keith and Doug Keith; grandson, Drew Keith; granddaughter Kelsi Keith Stinson; and great-granddaughter, Emma Kaye Wade. His family takes comfort in knowing he is reunited with those who went before him.
He is survived by his wife, Cesarea; children, Pennye Wade of Oxford, MS, Tammy Clark (Oscar) of Rolling Fork, MS, Kristi Keith of Jackson, MS, Leni Keith Marett of Clermont, GA, and Niki Bird-Keith (Kelly) of Gainesville, GA; 15 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Eddie’s story is one of resilience. He cherished simple moments like sharing meals and spending time with his family and his dog. His presence will be deeply missed.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, November 18 at 1 pm at Hillside Memorial Gardens in Gainesville, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11 am until the hour of service. Following the service, family and friends are invited to gather at Niki & Kelly’s home, 1179 Piedmont Way, for refreshments.
