Fannie Lou Head, age 88, of Dahlonega, GA passed away Saturday, January 9, 2021.
She was born and raised at Skitts Mountain, and was a hard worker who enjoyed the outdoors. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt.
Fannie was the daughter of the late William Bud and Lilly White Farmer, and was also preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Head; and brothers, William and J.D. Farmer.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David and Donna Nix; grandchildren, Christopher and Ashley Nix, Brandon Nix, and Ethan and Anmadri Nix; sister and brother-in-law, Vera and Willis Garrett; sister-in-law, Cornelia Farmer; and step-son, Danny Head. Nieces, nephews, and a number of other relatives also survive.
Due to COVID, the family will not be holding a public service. Fannie will be interred next to her husband, Vernon, at Concord Baptist Church Cemetery in Dahlonega, GA.
