Mrs. Gloria Jean (Roos) Harrell of Gainesville Georgia born October 14, 1953, died on October 27, 2024, in her home with her loving husband Gary Buford Harrell at her side.
Gloria is survived by her children, Rhonda Barney (Chris), Jacob Harrell (Maddie) and Whitney Abrahamson (Sam); stepdaughters Jennifer Harrell Sullivan and Terrie Ann Emerson (Jerry); grandchildren, Megan Hagan (John), Nash Barney (Mijin), Hunter Furr, Emma Harrell and Paul Abrahamson. She also leaves three great grandchildren; Her mother, Paula Isabella; brothers, Herbert Roos and JD Grantham (Renee); as well as her niece and nephew Mia and Joey Lytell. Gloria is Proceeded in death by her sister Charmaine Lytell.
Gloria and her husband were very successful business owners for over 30 years in the Atlanta market owning Mattress King. Gloria was widely popular for her red dress and saying “after all Mattresses are our business” Gloria was an ordained minister and loved the lord with all of her heart. Gloria had a real passion for giving back, as she was the founder of House of Hope. The ministry was founded in her late sister's honor, to help substance abusers along with women and children in distressed situations.
Gloria will be most remembered by her love for her children, family and the Lord.
