Gregory “Greg” William Roberts

On Thursday, August 12th, 2021, Greg Roberts, loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, passed away at the age of 64.

Greg was born in Gainesville, Georgia to Victor Roberts and Shirley Snipes on November 26th, 1956. He was known for his quick wit, his jokes and his kind compassionate spirit. Greg loved the Lord and had a heart of gold. If you spent any time with him, you were either laughing or had a smile on your face. His energy had a gravitational pull, and he will be greatly missed.

Greg was preceded in death by his father Victor, and mother Shirley.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie, of 22 years; daughters, Karen (Jess) Hiatt, Tonya (Nathan) Strickland, Alicia Seabolt, Angel Roberts, his best friend and brother, Keith Roberts; sisters, Donna Roberts, Tammy Adams, Mary Snipes; grandchildren, Megan (Jacob) Reece, Jessica Alligood, Clayton Strickland, Makenzie Strickland, Dalton Thomas, Marissa Seabolt, Gage Pacesky, Ava Rose; four great grandchildren; aunt, Vicky Campbell and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 PM Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at Hillside Chapel Funeral Home in Gainesville.

Pastor Levi Nix, Pastor Douglas Gaines, and Pastor Zach Watson will officiate.

The family will receive friends at Hillside Chapel Funeral Home from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm Tuesday, August 17, 2021; and again, on Wednesday, August 18 from 11:00 am until service time.

A private family burial will be held at Hillside Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Hillside Chapel Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses are appreciated by the family.
