James Earl Reeves

Mr. James Earl Reeves, 75, of Maysville died April `12, 2024. A native of Forsyth County, James was the son of the late Fred and Maude (Lee) Reeves. Mr. Reeves worked for Mike Barker Construction, Henry Cagles Brick Company and he retired from Lyman Hall School System. He was also preceded in death by brother, Doug Reeves.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years Brenda Reeves; son, Michael Standridge, Maysville; daughter, Jamie Sammons, Maysville; grandsons, Alex Standridge and Draven Sammons, both of Maysville; granddaughter, Amelia Sammons, Maysville; several brothers and sisters; nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Hillside Chapel Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Rev. Nate Traywick will officiate.
