Lancy Jarvis Sr (88) of Gainesville, GA passed away on Thursday September 22, 2023, in Gainesville, GA. Funeral Services will be held at Hillside Chapel Funeral Home in Oakwood, GA on September 29,2023 at 10 AM.

Lancy was born on May 31, 1935, in Hackensack, NJ. He served his country with pride by enlisting in the Army National Guard. Lancy is preceded in death by his son Lancy Jarvis Jr and his daughter Debra (Jarvis) Tilley.

He is survived by his son David Holman, his daughter Lori Fontenot, Grandkids Lancy Jarvis III, Eric Tilley, Ronald Tilley Jr, Kevin Fontenot, Devin Fontenot, great-grandkids, and great-great grandkids. He will be missed.
