Linda Gussler Martin

Linda Gussler Martin at the age of 67, of Gillsville, Georgia, was called home to be with the Lord in his Kingdom, on Friday, August 6, 2021.

Mrs. Martin was born October 2, 1953, in Louisa, Kentucky to the late Richard Gussler and Alma Farris Gussler.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Donald Ray Gussler and Rick Gussler.

Mrs. Martin is survived by her husband, Kevin Martin, of Gillsville, GA. Her three children, Jon Gussler of Houston, TX, Shelly (Casey) Ferraro of Lula, GA, and Shawn Harter of Lawrenceville, GA, and her sister, Darlene (Rick) Staniford of Louisa, KY.

Mrs. Martin is also survived by six grandchildren, Anna (Brandon) King, Cora Childers, Seaera (Bryant) Patterson, Jon Charles Harter, Julie Harter, William Ferraro, and great granddaughter, Kathren Cora King. Mrs. Martin has five nephews, two nieces, and eight great nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins, that were very dear to her.

Linda was known to love a good cup of coffee, Conway Twitty, a good book, her many dogs, and the beautiful colors of Autumn. Even though she lived in various states, she always called Kentucky home. Her wishes are to be scattered in the hills of Kentucky next to her parents and brother.

There will be a reception with refreshments, on August 19, 2021, for the receiving of family and friends, from 2:00pm-4:00pm with a 4:00pm prayer service at Hillside Chapel Funeral Home, 1190 McEver Rd., Gainesville, GA 30504.

There will be a reception with refreshments, on August 21, 2021, for the receiving of family and friends, from 12pm-1:30pm at Louisa First Baptist Church, 301 W Pike St., Louisa, KY 41230, and a graveside prayer service following the reception.
