Mark Anthony Butler, 66, of Gainesville, GA, passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at his residence.

Mark was born July 27, 1957 in Gainesville, GA, to June Harris and Betty Sue (Butler) Ware.

Mark accepted Christ at an early age and attended Rucker Memorial Baptist Church with his grandparents, Deacon John and Odessa Harris. He professed his love for Christ throughout his life and wasn't ashamed to proclaim it to anyone.

Mark graduated from Robert Wood Johnson High in Oakwood GA, and briefly attended Piedmont College in Demorest, Georgia. He left to pursue his passion for landscaping, which he began at the age of 14,

Mark was a character around town and loved to make people laugh with thought provoked humor.

He leaves behind many cherished memories for his family: (Sisters) Pamela Pryor, Jennifer Hawes, (James), Sandra Gallo (Patrick), (brothers) Joseph Ware (Elaine), Hamp Alexander Ware (Melody), Doug (Chris) Butler, who preceded him in death, Aunt Annie Ruth Millsap, Uncle Robert Lewis Butler and a host of nieces and nephews and friends.
