Mya Angelyz Torres

Mya Angelyz Torres, age 14, of Gainesville passed away on January 7, 2022 at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta – Scottish Rite.

Mya was born on November 9, 2007, in Ponce, Puerto Rico.

Mya is preceded in death by her father, Jose G. Figueroa, and brother Jeyden D. Torres. She is survived by her loving family. Mother, Maritza Torres & (Ramon Rodriguez); Brother & Sisters, Mikaela Rodriguez, Ashley Figueroa, Solymar Figueroa, Lisa Nicole Figueroa and Joseph Figueroa. Grandparents; Maria V. Santiago, Efrain Torres, Antonia Camacho, William Santiago.

Also survived by her aunts and uncles; Efrain Torres, Jania I. Torres, Dayana L. Torres, Ivette J. Torres, Mery Jane Torres, Jocelyn Santiago.

The family will receive friends Friday, January 14, 2022 from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Hillside Chapel Funeral Home in Gainesville. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm.
