Richard "Paul" Meggs

Richard Paul Meggs, of Flowery Branch, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 26, 2025.

A lifelong resident of Flowery Branch, Paul was a longtime member of Mt. Salem Baptist Church.

He is survived by his brother J. Gary Meggs (Lori), sister Susan Meggs Tanner (Lawrence), niece Melissa Tingle-Strawn (Charles), nephew Zachary Thomas Tanner, and grand-nieces Madeleine and Kerrigan Tingle. He is also survived by his daughter LeAnne Meggs Irlik (Tony) and granddaughter Emryn Mirabella Irlik.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Salem Baptist Church in Flowery Branch, with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mount Salem Baptist Church of Flowery Branch.
