Hillside Chapel Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Ronald Martin Roth, 84, of Gainesville, Georgia who passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center surrounded by his family. He was born on December 17, 1938 in Homestead, Pennsylvania and the son of the late Marty and Nellie Gross Roth. He was a graduate of Turtle Creek High School, Class of 1957. Ronald was an entrepreneur. He was the owner and operator of many businesses including Ron’s Body Shop before he retired. He was considered a ‘Jack of all trades’ and was passionate about classic cars. He was a long term member of Norcross Masonic lodge, the Northeast Shrine Club, American Legion and he attended Lanier Christian Church. Mr. Roth was also a veteran of the US Army during the Vietnam War. Mr. Roth is survived by his wife of fifty-eight years, Jeanette Roth: his children and spouses: Ronda Roth Larned; Richard and Doris Roth; grandchildren: Cade Larned, Macaiah Roth, Cloe Larned, and Corbin Larned; one sister and two brothers: Connie Pongracz, Alan Roth and Terry Roth. He was loved by his extended family of nieces, nephews, and cousins and by many close friends. A funeral service will be held in his honor at 1:00 P.M. Sunday, November 5, 2023 from Hillside Chapel Funeral Home with Reverend John Simpson and Glenn Sims officiating, entombment will follow in Hillside Memorial Gardens.
